Getting started with Storyboard

Storyboard helps you plan a shoot from the first shot list to the call sheet.

1. Create a project

Open Storyboard projects and click Create new project. Choose short video/ad, drama/film, or storyboard only. Drama/film turns on scene management by default.

2. Break down shots

On the Shot making tab, click Add shot. Fill in the text, duration, framing, camera angle, movement, lens, lighting, props, and cast in the table, or switch to the card view. Use Present to review shots full screen.

3. Generate frames and video

Click a shot number to open the generation page. Upload or generate the first and last frames with Imagen, then generate a shot video with Veo.

4. Prepare the call sheet

On the Call sheet tab, create a notice with the shooting day, date, locations, call times, scene schedule, and cast calls. Use Copy as text to share it.
