Import shots from a video

Split a reference video into shots and add them to your board.

Use a reference film, ad or your own footage as a starting point.

  1. Choose a video.
  2. Storyboard detects the cuts and saves a keyframe plus the start and end time of each shot.
  3. Select the shots you want — or select all — and click Add to storyboard.

Results are cached per file, so opening the same video again is instant. Use Split again to redo detection.
